What if …Lost took the Sub-Scorcher’s front half (rocker, outline and foil) with the Rockets back half (but with a more conservative rocker) and then ran a deep single channel out the tail? …You get the Scorch It Surfboard. Although they have faded in popularity, channel bottoms add bite, create drive through turns and bring explosive, exhilarating and powerful qualities to surfing. With all the creativity in surfboards these days,…Lost deemed it right to combine the locked in, powerful, driving sensation of classic tail channels with post modern hybrid designs of today.
The Scorch It has a moderate tail rocker for glide, but the deep single channel through the tail (which both adds grip and an afterburner like thrust out of turns) lets the water release out the tail and actually increases the rocker without sacrificing any drive.
Ride as a Thruster, or experiment with a 5 fin custom convertible about the same length as a Sub or 2″ longer than a Rocket.
