For 2008 we added a bigger size for the has beens that still think they can do airs. The 5’4” was added for the 180+ guy that wants a small wave board that they can do airs while still being able to paddle. The 4’10” and 5’0” continue to do anything you can think of. Surfing, Grinching, Wakesurfing, Kiteboarding, Tow Ats, young kids first board, the applications for these seems to be endless. Whatever you want the surfskate to do it will not only do it well but it will withstand to abuse in the process. We challenge anyone to find more versatile design.

The 6’3“ is a high performance board for the guy who still rips but can’t paddle like he used to. It has the same rocker and outline as the CL Pro’s just added width and thickness for the bigger guys. The 6’4 and 6’6” have flatter entry rockers and carry the thickness flow further forward to give them more glide and drive. These paddle like funshapes but turn like shortboards.

This is Placeboman’s mad scientist attempt to cross the Cory models with the Uber Fish. Basically he took the nose off a Cory model and glued it to the tail of a Uber Fish and added a bump wing to clean up the outline. Somehow in all the madness he created a great all around board. The 5′11″ Psuedo Fish works well in fast down the line surf orlong mushy walls for the average surfer.

When Cory asked for a Flexlite with his exact dimensions “just like his magic board”, instead of the always futile attempt to recreate or reshape his “magic” board…not to mention we were too lazy to build another plug..we took his favorite board and built an “exact” mold directly off it. We left all the pressure dings in the deck and all the slight imperfections. Turns out our laziness paid off, as the dents in the deck really help to lock your foot in the sweet spot of the board. In order to make things politically correct we evened out the dents on the left side for you regular footers. Cory likes this board so much he gave us all his old “magic” boards to make. Problem is they are all in at least two pieces. …A first in surfboard manufacturing from Placebo and Flexlite.

Featuring updated rocker based on continued feedback from Cory while surfing the WCT and WQS tours. We added a touch more rail volume and lowered the entry rocker while still keeping the original accelerated tail rocker. The deep single concave under the front foot running to slight vee out the tail combined with the flatter deck and slightly fuller rails makes the new model more forgiving in small junk surf while also adding glide and drive in real waves. The outline is only slightly adjusted, making the hip more subtle and nose less pulled in while still maintaining that ultra responsive feel. With Cory now riding the “Exacta” we could build a board that the everyday surfer can paddle and still rip on.
