Featuring updated rocker based on continued feedback from Cory while surfing the WCT and WQS tours. We added a touch more rail volume and lowered the entry rocker while still keeping the original accelerated tail rocker. The deep single concave under the front foot running to slight vee out the tail combined with the flatter deck and slightly fuller rails makes the new model more forgiving in small junk surf while also adding glide and drive in real waves. The outline is only slightly adjusted, making the hip more subtle and nose less pulled in while still maintaining that ultra responsive feel. With Cory now riding the “Exacta” we could build a board that the everyday surfer can paddle and still rip on.

“The Stealth” is a high performance secret weapon hybrid formulated by “hiding” our …LOST “rocket” model into the guise of a ponted nose performance shortboard. Team riders (”pro’s”) were stoked on “The Rockets” performance in small surf but were afraid to use in contests for fear of negative reaction from judges. The Super Twin is MR’s ultimate small-wave high performance board. It is fast, loose, and easy to turn. Featuring a single-double concave bottom for speed, a wider template with more nose area for flotation & paddling power, and the original winged swallow tail from the 1970’s twin fins. The leading fins are glassed-on or fiberglass FCS twins, and there is a small FCS (gs) stabilizer in the center back. They perform like faster, looser thrusters; tons of fun in small waves (1’ to 5’). When choosing a size, a rough rule of thumb is to go 2” shorter than your normal thruster. This is a replica of MR’s favorite twin fin, which was a magic contest board. Originally shaped in 1980 for the June South Africa event, MR won the Gunston 500 and Hang Ten International on it. It has been faithfully re-created with the same outline, foil & rocker, fins & position, and MR sprays as the original. It features a deep V to get it flowing rail to rail, a fluted wing for holding power, and a template with a lot of forward area, making it a dream to paddle and ride in small waves. It is fast, loose & a blast from the past. Available in sizes 5’6” to 6’6” / 19-21” wide.

Redesigned “proformance” shortboard for ‘06! Drawing on influence from many WCT surfers and the shapers who’s boards they are riding, we created a board that can meet the demands of the very best, while still being user friendly to the masses. Obvious changes are the square rails in tail area, rounder rails forward and increased nose kick in forward 12″. The WCT features a narrower “hip” area between the feet in the outline and a blended drawn out rocker with more tuck further back in the rails than our other shortboard models. It has the ability to hold in and turn critically in larger waves w/o riding a larger board. The concaves are more pronounced and drawn further back into the tail than in the past. All these features give the rider a board that has “no surprises” and feels fast and drivey in 3′ slop yet holds in and performs in well overhead waves. Comes in squash and rounded pin tails.
